Advance Animation

In this class, we were to each create two characters, a creature, and a vehicle to teach us the process of pitching characters and objects. We started with sketches of our ideas, poses, head poses, turnarounds, sillouetes, and a final pose.

Gobby

Concept:

Gobby is a gluttonous three foot goblin that has escaped The Void and entered the modern world around the 40's, and has lived in the modern age since. He is fascinated by humans and the modern world.

Rachel

Concept:

Rachel is a hideous Succubus that escaped the void late in the 20th century. She is six and a half feet tall, not including the horns on her head. The name "Rachel" was actually the name of the previous woman she killed, taking the woman's skin and using it as her own, eating the remains. Taking the skins and becoming the woman allows her to be closer to her prey - men. She lives for the night life, the modern pleasures, and the attention of men. Rachel is a vain creature who is very conscious of her looks, for deep down , she knows what she really looks like.

Ichi

Concept:

Ichi is an oversized, 8 foot tall (and that is if he attempts to stand up straight) ragged teddy bear that was created by a young woman with magic to bring her hand made items to life. Made to protect her from monsters, Ichi is stuffed with old clothes and sewed together with leather. The doll is simpleminded, speaking very childlike, and, unlike his aggressive demeanor, refuses to fight unless he or his master is threatened.
